Because of my dismal divisional record, and because Ally and Halbert were playing against each other this weekend, the only way I was going to make the playoffs was if I won, and those two tied.
Right now, Ally has 90 pts (no players left) and Halbert has 91 pts, with McMichael left. If McMichael repeats his performance vs the Bills ( 1 catch, 1 fumble) then I have a shot at a tie (each 10 yards is worth 1 pt, each lost fumble is -2). A 15 yard catch would give him 1 pt (92 total) then Urlacher has to lay him out and cause a fumble (-2- 90 total). That would create a tie, and I'm in!!!
Right now, I have 111 points (no players left) and my opponent (Shelby) has 80 with Fiedler left.
Oh man, I thought it was McMichael, too when I saw it.
Well, Dozer, sorry you didn't make it. I had the second most points in another league and got knocked out of the playoffs by the guy with the sixth most points so it could be worse.
Good think I picked up William Green cuz I'd be in big trouble right about now.
I just checked that other league I mentioned. OK, I was mistaken, the other guy was 5th in scoring, not 6th. But I made another mistake - check this out:
Thanks, Ally. Good thing I picked up William Green when he wasn't doing anything. Marshall won't be himself the rest of the year and I'd be starting Duckett or some scrub from the waiver wire.
In reality, anything can happen in FF playoffs. It's virtually a crapshoot, especially with only 2 games deciding it.
