Yeah good thing I get basically all my work done and meetings done before 12. Gonna be tough Monday because I'm on at 10 I think.Originally Posted by pmacla

Dareus - 1st Round Pick
MBB your up dude :)
seems im at a bit of a disadvantage being on the west coast LOL
I had Seymour fourth on my list because being listed as a DL he can play either DE or DT but felt that Peppers was the better push rusher. Seymour is the best run stopper in the draft...Originally Posted by MBBedard

sorry...not much I can do about that.Originally Posted by pmacla
One note of clarification...if you PASS in a certain round it does not mean you forfeit your right to make a selection in that round or trade that pick. You can still pick or trade until the round is closed.
Because this is new and I want everybody to have a chance at a first round pick I have kept the first round open for this weekend. This is a one time offer!
its cool just have to be on my toes
Great first round, some interesting picks, after rounds 2-3 we will have a good idea of where everyone is headed.
Whoa Willis in the first! I wouldnt have seen that coming.
well im looking for the future with that pick and did some wheeling and dealing to get back in to do it
yeah hes young and has potential, not even a bad pick, but in the coming years thats a hefty tag to have on him.
I am surprised how many people picked in the first round...oh, well...got to play for this year too!!
There was only 1 guy if he was there that I would have picked in the 1st round. He was there. Not sure if its a good thing or a bad thing but he was there and I took him.Originally Posted by Ebenezer
well I look at it this way now I have no 2nd rounder if he turns out the way he looks like he may in the future its worth the risk, plus even if he wasnt with the Bills he is probably my favorite player in the NFL this way I dont have to root against him in our fantasy land LOL
I'm ready for Monday now. None of the guys I've targeted have been taken.
Yeah I knew If I skipped the 1st id have a tough time getting a solid QB. Ive traded my third, and will likely trade again somewhere between the 4th and 6th round
true...I think there are two levels here...you can win this year and be competetive next...the real strategy starts after the season when long term deals get handed out. Then you have to cut and really build a team and more strategy comes into play. The first year is almost a freebie. You can spend a lot of money without reprocussions.Originally Posted by pmacla
This years limit is 85, but if you spend that the following year will be painful!
remember...the players will have the same salary the year after they are drafted. when you draft them they are basically on a one-year try out.Originally Posted by Devin
well that also where the rookie draft comes into play if ya get some good players there a couple high priced guys can go
