For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.
I think the first player taken will be the first one off the board.
Well for owners who drop the first round, Its going to be interesting to see what quality QB they manage to pick up.
I almost have to get someone in the first round, because I know I'm going to be too busy on my days off Monday and Tuesday to pick in all of rounds 2-4.
I won't be here to pick on Monday or Tuesday. You can always send a list of players to me and we can take the person at the top of the list for you. Devin is going to help me out when I am not around.Originally Posted by Sabre Ally
I may end up picking in the first and second and drop the 3rd since its a 7.5 mil round as well.
Gotta be resourceful and save some cash somewhere.
Im definitely not taking a QB first
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
I am still looking it over but I probably will.
There are only around 10 or so in the elite class, and for the first year or two I want some stability.
I think there may be alot of passes in the first 3 rounds
I have to wake up at 6 AM tommorrow to take my pick Im on west coast, no partying for me tonite LOL
lol.
yeah your most likely correct, the first 3 rounds are pricey so we will see a lot of passes. The pic selection should be interesting.
I have my own stradegy, which im sure each individuals stradegy will be different but I think we wont know until whole draft is ove who is gonna do well the first couple of years
I'm sure QBs will be a bunch of the 1st picks off the board.
Dareus - 1st Round Pick
Well imo you need a good general to start. But as I said earlier some people will be building for the future. I mean think about it if you skip the first 6-7 rounds, you will have some cheap players (probably not a half bad team in all honesty) and a boatload of cap room next year. So it will depend fully on your strategy.
well the draft has begun I had a tough spot, would have been nice to see trends develop instead of starting a trend, but oh well did my best hope it works
question ??did I have till 9:30 AM EST to make my pick???
if you need to we can switch your pick up until the Aztecs time slot, as long as he doesnt pick...but just this time.Originally Posted by pmacla

So far, it's going the way I thought it would....Peyton Manning, Daunte Culpepper gone. Walter Jones gone very early. Interesting move. And I wanted a QB who can run around behind my line and still pass, so I have McNabb.
