of course, but studying the player rankings makes up for lack of knowing who is the second string LT on the San Dieg Chargers and does he have potential for the future, also still a crap shoot and basically seeing if your philosphy on how to build a team is succesful

Honestly Madden hold up real well here too. If any of you ever do fantasy drafts in that it definitely helps.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
              It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

I could be wrong I dont mind paying a QB and RB major money but the shocks to me so far are a C OT S and LB in the first round but like i said everyone has their own philosophy

Madden if youll notice always revolves around the offense.

What I mean is of course a good D/O-Line help but if your QB is 99 as well as your RB, youll have a winning season on them alone. Its kinda bad.

                    That isnt true.

Knowing how to manage your money will help probably more. you need to know what rounds you can draft in and what to trade out of. You can draft 10 All-pro's in a row. Super now what? 43 other places to fill.

its just like why Tony Gonzalez goes so early in Fantasy Football. For me anyway I see only 3 elite safeties in the NFL. I have the youngest and one of the most talented. I think any QB can perform in a SIM I dont care if I get Jeff Garcia I am sure he will do just fine throwing to TO

a lot of it depends on how the sim is setup. In madden if you have a 70-75 rated QB he plays at that level....average.

I always build D power-houses. And I always rock a top 3 D so different strokes for different folks. But what I meant more so is knowledge of players and such.

right and that isnt a bad strategy, in fact there isnt really a wrong strategy. But as far as Sim leagues guy, the biggest help is knowing how the system works.

                            I.e what it values most.

Like i said I'm not questioning anyones stradegy, because I'm sure most are questioning mine LOL. The variable is how the computer plays the teams, if balanced then a great D is a great way to go, if more offensive then an offeensive team may be way to go, at least we kinda see the problem real GM's have
