    Team: Golden Brewsers
    Owner: Mike Bedard
    GM: Mike Bedard

    Head Coach: Jim Mora Sr.
    Asst. Coach: Phil Simms

The Golden Brewsers were founded in the summer of 2004. They were a small town flag football team with big time goals. They didnt win much but they had a winning attitude. When team owner Mike Bedard got wind of the BZFL he immediately purchased all rights to the Golden Brewsers and brought them to the league.

Mike Bedard is 23 years old and resides in Boston, MA with his dog Takeo. He is a drummer for 25affair and a Cornerback on the Golden Brewsers farm team. He likes beer and videogames.

I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

          Erie Assassins Team Profile

          Owner/President: R. Rich
          Executive VP/GM: Kevin Colbert
Director of Player Personnel: Phil Savage
          Head Coach: Kirk Ferentz

          Headquarters: 7 Assassins Plaza
          Stadium: RICH Stadium
Fanbase: The same crazy, drunken, cold weather idiots you'd see at places like Lambeau

We settled on hiring Colbert and Savage to run the team because of their excellent track records in Pittsburgh (Colbert) and Baltimore (Savage). Both are also known for very thorough research of players from all over, whether they're from Division 1A, D2, D3, or even NAIA, semi pro, minor league (NFLE, Arena), or converted players from other sports.

We were very pleased to get Ferentz, especially after our first choice, legendary Penn State coach Joe Paterno, declined our very generous contract offer so that he could stay at the college level. Ferentz' teams at the University of Iowa have been known to run the ball well and play very good defense, which is the kind of team the Assassins want to develop. Ferentz also pays attention to special teams, which we intend to emphasize.

Uhh, well seeing how I am the only one on the front end overnights, I am the one who cashes the hotties out and gets to see the breasts and even pussy when they show it to me. So yeah i guess it does have something to do with it.

                    I love summer.

                      Now back to my team....

Tom Modrak is the one who is going to help me build my team and also keep me under the cap. We are glad to have him aboard. We love our new Head Coach. Brad Childress is going to make a great head coach and he already has had developed a solid relationship with my starting QB, Donovan McNabb. Oh and Eric Mangini was a steal. He's going to be the next Romeo Crennel for my defense.

I'm glad that I was able to snag my Special Teams coordinator before any of you guys took him. Bobby April was #1 on my priority list. I needed to lock him up before anyone else got a chance.

I let Coach Ferentz bring his staff from Iowa w/ him. Being a successful collegiate coach, a former OL coach, and a former Belichick assistant (was his OL coach in Cleveland and also served in that capacity for the Ravens as well), we trust his judgment.

I work at Wegmans. I'm the cashier and front end manager overnights. I'm also supposed to stock the candy at the registers and keep an eye on the people who go and in and out of the store.

Interesting choice. Isn't that what Gregg did? Hired a whole bunch of College assistants.
