    BZFL - Round 25 ($1 mil) & 26 ($500K) 5/4 - Official Draft Thread!

Here is the order and time slots for Rounds 25 & 26. Each pick in the 25th round is worth $1 mil and picks in round 26 are worth $500K. Remember, you may pass. The 25th round is now open. Please announce at any time if you are passing.

From a previous announcement the Fighting Shih Tzus are passing.

The Norsemen pick in the 25th is available for cheap!

Well I've basically tried giving away my 25th round pick no takers. I'm not even going to waste any time. I'm passing in the 25th.

No prob. If you can hang around to make the pick, great. Right now, we're just waiting for Mikey to make his pick. I'm next, and I'm ready to go. You're after me.

I'm awake. I was working last night, why would I be sleeping?

Okay, I decided that I needed one more young DT to finish my starting defense because I'll be going with the 4-3. So, with the 4th pick of the 25th round, the Rochester Rampage select.....

DT Ryan Sims - Kansas City

                              'Bout damn time!

Okay, the war room at 7 Assassins Plaza has decided to add another young, talented player to the defensive line. This guy had a solid rookie year for the Tennessee Titans, and now will move over to the LDE spot in the Assassins' 3-4 defense. He has shown good athleticism and a knack for making plays (had 4.5 sacks, 1 FF, 2 FRs, and 3 passes defensed in only 8 starts). He still has room to improve (taking on the double team, which he will do A LOT in our scheme), but has shown both Kevin Colbert and Phil Savage enough in just one year to take him here. So...

the Erie Assassins select Randy Starks, DT/DE with our first pick in Round 25.
