Okay, the war room at 7 Assassins Plaza has decided to add another young, talented player to the defensive line. This guy had a solid rookie year for the Tennessee Titans, and now will move over to the LDE spot in the Assassins' 3-4 defense. He has shown good athleticism and a knack for making plays (had 4.5 sacks, 1 FF, 2 FRs, and 3 passes defensed in only 8 starts). He still has room to improve (taking on the double team, which he will do A LOT in our scheme), but has shown both Kevin Colbert and Phil Savage enough in just one year to take him here. So...

the Erie Assassins select Randy Starks, DT/DE with our first pick in Round 25.
        nice pick...i like that one

Weird, his name didn't come up when I searched the round by round thread. Hang on a minute.

                    How about Mario Fatafehi, DT

I figured out the problem and fixed it. Someone spelled his name wrong. It's not Lespis...it's Lepsis.

Tarpons are on the clock until 10:45. They may select their pick in round 25 as well as the requested pick in round 24 (see that thread). If they miss this pick they forfeit the opportunity to pick in round 24).

Assassins Exec VP/GM Kevin Colbert thinks our next selection will come back nicely from his injury to become a contributor to the Assassins' offense. With the drafting of Kelley Washington and Brandon Lloyd, we can afford to take a flyer on him. He has great size and speed, and will help out in the slot or as the secondary receiver. So...

the Erie Assassins select Tyrone Calico, WR with their 2nd pick in Round 25.

PASS. Sorry I just woke up
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
                                It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
