Sad to say, but we have our first no-show. I'm sure Devin had some sort of mix-up, but we have to move on.

Fighting Shih Tzus are on the clock until 10:45am.

The Outlaws select Cedrick Benson, RB

With Corey Dillon aging, and expensive the Outlaws make thier first move to the future selecting a big stud RB who will eventually replace Dillon.

    (sorry im late)

Jersey Jags go with their 4th rated player on their board (3rd defensive) and take CB Antrelle Rolle

The Jags are stacked in the secondary with Clements, Bly, Kelly, Dawkins and Boulware but feel Rolle is too good to pass up.
    Dareus - 1st Round Pick

    Great pick....

Devin has made my decision for me.

With an aging starting CB in Tory James the CRK's are very happy to see their top CB prospect drop into their hands hands, and also will give them an ELITE KR/PR man for many years to come and draft their new shutdown CB:

CB Adam "Pacman" Jones - West Virginia

    This Just in......

The LA Aztecs have traded their 1st round pick 17th overall to The Golden Brewsers of Denver for a 2nd(20th in the round) 3rd (1st in the round) and a 6th(20th in the round).

    Back to the draft.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Screaming Vikings take Jammal Brown, OT
"'Clean up your room.', 'Stand up straight.', 'Pick up your feet.', 'Take it like a man.', 'Be nice to your sister.', 'Don't mix beer and wine, ever.'. Oh yeah, 'Don't drive on the railroad track.'"

"Eh, Phil. That's one I happen to agree with."

The Super Deuces have had a tough time deciding on who to take here. They could easily take a safety but have decided to let Chris Hope develop for a season and see what he has to offer. We could take a DE in Marcus Spears but aren't too keen on him and so that leaves us with our pick....He has the ability to rush the passer from the DE position and plays well in coverage as an OLB and will fit in nicely in our 3-4 scheme for years to come, not to mention, he is one of the best tacklers in the draft. So without further adieu:

The Super Deuces select Shawne Merriman OLB/DE - University of Maryland

    Ryan Withey
    Owner/President/GM/Director of Player Personnel

    Kansas City Super Deuces
