Nice pick there, Spaz.
The Erie Assassins were just ecstatic to see that 2 players they really like are still available here. They traded up to get in a position to draft either one of them, so now they have to choose.
This is a tough choice to make. Had Mark Clayton not been picked by the Spartans, he would've been first. The next 2 players on our board were tied for 2nd on our board. We decided to take the next player because he fits our defensive scheme to a T: he's very aggressive, a sound tackler, and can intimidate players who try to take him on. He's also just scratching the surface of his abilities and should only get better w/ time. the Erie Assassins select Thomas Davis, S/LB from Georgia with our 19th pick in the first round.
