For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.
I like my spot at #8, I think my guy will still be available.
The Houston Retro Raiders.
I think I dont want any of these crappy rookies this year so if anyone wants another first rounder let me know
EB can we just PASS in the rookie draft if we want to ???
I moved down from 1# to $3 to get my guy.
Lets not forget about Rivers those of you seeking a QB. he can be yours for only a 2nd rounder in the rooke draft. At only 300k he is a great alternative to a 1million QB.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
The Rochester Rampage are looking to move one of their 2nd rounders to get into the top 10 of the first round. Let me know if you are interested in trading out.
nothing in the rules says you have to have any rookies...you may trade the picks away for picks in the 2006 free agent draft or you may pass.Originally Posted by pmacla
btw, these rookies do not count against the cap until next year...you can draft and keep them all year and then you can trade some away next year or you can cut them all loose on cut down day next year...your choice.Originally Posted by Ebenezer
Eb who you takin at #1??
So lets try and predict the top 10 picks?
I am going to guess Eb will take a QB. Hes set at WR, and did great for RB's. Delholmme isnt bad. But if Alex Smith is as solid as he supposedly should be. I reckon its not a bad pick for him.
I think Erie goes D. Partly because Rich told me, and I know how big he is on D.
He has a very solid young secondary so I cant see him taking one of the CB's, unless hes drafting for depth/future....way future. Hes more then set at LB, my guess he gets solid a solid DE pick with Demarcus Ware.
Before all the "Experts" insert opinions I should mention this isnt entirley by need (course judging by the picks in the stocking draft this will follow suit).
Eb goes Edwards rich goes DE
He didnt post his final roster, but id be shocked if Braylon Edwards made it past him.
Tough call with the brewsers, Jackson is a good young back and he has one of the best young WR corps out, id Guess Ronnie Brown might be to good to pass up though if Jackson has a bad season this year or if he lets bettis go.
Ronnie Brown, RB
Jersey Jags are another team with very good depth at WR/RB he has an average secondary so Im going to guess he goess CB here.
Antrel Rolle
The Outlaws Did "OK" at RB, Dillon is a beast at RB but is expensive and is aging. They will likely go for RB unless by some miracle Edwards is available.
Cedric Benson, RB
Fighting Shih Tzus will likely go RB to, with againg curtis martin and Smith done for 2005, I think they pick the next big stud avail at RB and go with Cadillac Williams RB.
Retro Raiders has one of the top WR corps in the BZFL, I think they go for help on D and look to Adam Jones, DB. Very versitle and quick, and will instantly strengthen thier D.
