Yeah so, that applies in many fields. I have worked in retail, and I was once a waitress, we have more power than you think. Think about it the next time your bossing your waitress around, because they can do anything, like spit in your food.

I totally ignored a Wal Mart worker today! She said have a nice day and I just pretended not to hear her. It's nicer than rolling your eyes or spitting at them.

Right. A lady who practically lives at Wal Mart was looking down on me for shopping there.
Sometimes when the cashiers at Wal Mart try to start a friendly conversation, and then tell me my total, I pretend to be nice, then I jokingly say that my total is more than they make in a week.
The weird thing is that they don't even usually realize it's an insult.
