You know what sucks? I'm stuck with the worst announcers in the NHL- the Florida Panther crew. Denis Potvin has got to be the worst ever.
I remember watching a game, Florida vs the Sabres, must have been 5-6 years ago now. Because Florida sucked, Hasek was given one of his 10 games of the season off. Andrei Trefelov (sp?) was a Russian kid who backed Hasek that year.
After 2 periods, the score was something like 3-2 Sabres, maybe 3-3. Trefilov was pulled at the second intermission, and Hasek was put in.
Now the change was obvious. Trefilov was 6-8 inches taller than Hasek, did not wear the plain cage Hasek wor. You could tell the difference from the last row. These two knuckleheads kept calling Hasek Trefilov for half a period!!!!!
Then, about 10 minutes into the 3rd, they reviewed a goal scored vs the Sabres. Only then they noticed who was in net, and after the next commercial, they spewed out some crap like "looks like Trefilov has been replaced by Hasek"
I hate these guys and avoid them like the plague.
Geesh- I see the Sabres are displaying their usual offensive talents on this PP
