    Tillman accepted into Rangers

    Pat Tillman, the former Arizona Cardinals safety who left the National Football League to join the U.S. Army, has been accepted into the service's elite Rangers unit in Fort Benning, Ga.
    After returning from his honeymoon in May, the 26-year-old told the Cardinals he was joining the Army with his younger brother Kevin in hopes of becoming a Ranger. Before Tillman left the NFL, the team offered him a multiyear contract that would have paid more than $1 million a year.......
