    Re: Waivers/Player Movement

The Erie Assassins sign free agent DT Lional Dalton ($500K) and WR Antonio Chatman ($500K) and release S Bracy Walker ($50K cap hit).

[TE Jabari Holloway, still listed on the Erie roster, was released 07/20/05]

      Done.

The listing of Holloway was a salary cap notation. He is no longer on the Assassins roster.

        Re: Waivers/Player Movement

Per our earlier discussion Eb, there was no cap hit for releasing Holloway since he's not an active player on the game. I made the switch to Desmond Clark w/out any cap hit being put on my team.

The Bushwackers have released Tim Anderson and signed Jerome Bettis. They are also assessed a $50K penalty for Anderson.

I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
                  It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you will exceed the salary cap if you do that...you need to release another player making $0.5 mil or more.
