EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) - Toronto captain Mats Sundin sat out the Maple Leafs' game against Edmonton on Saturday night because of a left shoulder injury, ending his consecutive-game streak at 269.


The star center, who last missed a regular-season game in the 1999-00 season, was injured Friday night against Calgary when he was checked into the glass by defenseman Bob Boughner.

It hurt quite a lot. I felt that I jammed it," Sundin said. ``We don't know what it is, we're going to see how it feels (Saturday) morning."
