    Detroit and NHL already plotting Sabres demise

    The Red Wings are furiously lobbying to move to the Eastern Conference, something that could happen should the Sabres evaporate.

    The NHL might just fold up the Sabres to make a point to the players union before new contract negotiations.

    Bettman laid it out on the table. You guys make it happen, or it's no skin off his nose.

    Friday deadline?? The pols in Erie County and Buffalo are among some of the fastest moving people in the world...

    ...you should see what they have done to reenergize the waterfront, improve the city schools, stop sprawl...take a look at the medical corridor...out new technology campuses...

    ...how could anybody doubt our elected officials?
