    Angry Life After Empire?

    I just read in a story that the NHL is look for a new home for the Sabres on TV. Does anybody have an idea who they might look at? They can't leave Empire, can they? I know they can but I just don't want them to. What is the latest news in Buffalo about this....

    As long as they still have FanTV and Empire Sports Report...I like the regional feel to it. Do you get that on the other Fox Sports Net affiliates?

    The Hockey coverage on Empire is outstanding. If they move I hope they don't mess with the broadcasts.

    I haven't gotten to see the hockey coverage on Empire with sound (the bar in Nebraska I watched the games at wouldn't turn the sound up, it would interfere with the basketball game the losers were trying to watch ). However, it has to be better than ESPN.

    Sabre you don't know what you are missing. I think the broadcasters are great but what I really like about the TV coverage on Empire is the camera work and the fact that they seemingly have mikes placed on the ice and you get to hear all the great sounds of hockey you don't really hear with other broadcasts. They are trying to bring us Hockey not Hokey...I love it.

    They normally carry a HNIC game on the DirecTV hockey package every Saturday. Will someone please punch Al Strachan? He's worse than anyone on ESPN.
