I havent made to many changes, I tried making a few to help the ground game, but they flopped.
OL and my secondary will be getting a look in the off season. My goal the whole time was the playoffs, thats a 50-50 shot at the moment.
Dude shut up. I made a point that I haven't done crap with my lineup and was still able to beat you even with you having the game. Will do so this week as well.Originally Posted by L.A. Playa

Didnt have the game when your team lucked out the first time and if ya cant handle a little smack talk maybe you should try Pee Wee football. ANd you team's luck has run out.Originally Posted by Sportsuser101
Good healthy competition. I love it.
thought I needed to liven this league up a bit its been quite dead lately
Another 2 weeks and its getting down to clutch time.
Let's put it this way...2 other leagues...3 total seasons...a total combination of 7 wins...granted, I took over cellar franchises with little talent and a boatload of salary cap trouble but this is the best I have done yet.Originally Posted by Devin

Its fun either way.
I got the sim, and man is it complicated. A MILLION settings.
If everybody gets the game the sim could get really interesting.Originally Posted by Devin
I think if everyone got the sim there would be an entire season to learn it. There would be 4-5 teams who just dominated every game.
I like the idea of 1-2 people simming the games. If everyone had it and we were playing head2head we might as well play madden.
I have no experience with Madden. Can our current system be integrated into it? The think I like about the sim is that the computer tells you the outcome of the play, even if we were to play human to human. I don't want to get into a situation where somebody is better because they can press keys better than somebody else. If Madden can have the computer play the plays and we can integrate the games I have no problem switching.Originally Posted by Devin
Well I wasn't suggesting we switch, I like the idea of this league and love the way its done now. I think with one other person simming to help you out.......to be honest I like it the way it is.
Why bother with that?? I have by far the best LBing core in the league and I can't stop any teams RB from getting over 150 yards rushing and the QB's all go like 38 for 40 against me. It is just depressing. I have decent DE's and a very solid DT as well all to no avail.Originally Posted by Forward_Lateral

I told you this before. Your DL are big time pass rushers but are weak against the run. You need your DL to hold up guys so your LBers can make plays. Spikes and Farrior are good against the run but Bell and Colvin are more of pass rushers. You could have 3-4 pro bowlers at linebacker but it means nothing if your DL cannot hold up the offensive lineman for the LBers to make the tackle. Thats why I think a guy like Jason Ferguson was so important for me to get.Originally Posted by ryjam282
Didn't realize 45-28 was luck. Last time I checked I was 3 games up on you. I think the cut off point to talk smack is 2 games. Come back when you get closer.Originally Posted by L.A. Playa
I bought the sim also, about a month or so ago. You're right; it is complicated.Originally Posted by Devin
I do like the idea of someone, either you or I since we're execs in the BZFL (the pay really sucks, doesn't it?) and have the software, being able to do the sims in case Eb can't.
