All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
MLB... Don't hate me, but I've liked the red sox for ever...
NHL... Sabres
NBA... Anyone who beats the Lakers...other than that, I'm not much of an NBA fan post Jordan
NASCAR... who ever has the best mullet?
NCAA bball is Syracuse... football...Montana Grizzlies
MLB: Don't follow it very closely. I used to like the Yankees, but the whole issue of disparity in the salary structures turns me off. The action is too slow for TV so I didn't watch much even before salaries warped the competitive nature of the league.
NHL: Sabres, but I won't invest much emotionally until the management proves they are committed to building a winner. So far I haven't seen that commitment, though they might get lucky with Thomas Vanek.
NBA: Ho Hum.
NASCAR: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
NCAA: Basketball - Saint Bonaventure, Football - It's fluid. Right now I'm intrigued by ND with Charlie Weiss. I also like Florida and USC. Sometimes I like Fl. St. and others.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.
I noticed the thievery there lordofgun, but it's all good (not even some rep, since I have so much?)...
You can see the teams I love...all my "local" teams (since I can remember in Toronto we've had every Bills game and local Buffalo TV affiliate coverage, and almost all ND football games are televised here).
I see every team live, every year, in some cases several times a year...
NHL: Sabres and Lightning (because I lived there, not because they won a cup)
NBA: Quit following after the Braves left Buffalo.
MLB: Yankees, Mets, Tigers.
College Football: Orange, Irish, UB.
Wimbledon.
MLB: Cleveland Indians, Baltimore Orioles, St. Louis Cardinals.
NHL: The Sabres, of course.
NBA: Denver Nuggets, but luke warm about the NBA.
NASCAR: Rusty Wallace and Elliott Sadler, now that Bill Elliott is mostly retired.
NCAA: The Syracuse Orange, big time.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

"In the poker game of life, women are the rake. They are the f**kin' rake."
NBA: Could care less...overpaid, selfish thugs...not even a team sport anymore.
NCAA: Football I will watch anybody...usually root for Maryland and against Ohio State. With basketball, I am a Terps fan through and through...16 years in Maryland will do that to you.
You people are depressing me...try this out so my doctor can take me off my meds!!!
