All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

The 49ers clarified the situation, noting that some media have misinterpreted York's postgame comments about phoning Mariucci on Tuesday to discuss an appropriate time for a meeting. There is, at this point, no timetable for such a discussion, although it is likely the two men will huddle some time in the next week.
Some friends of Mariucci have suggested to him that he take the rest of this week to rest and recharge his batteries, and then meet with York early next week. Sources from both sides emphasized that nothing should be read into the fact there will be no Tuesday meeting, since none was scheduled in the first place......more
TAMPA, Fla. -- His team advanced one game deeper into the playoffs than it did a year ago but, with a second consecutive lopsided postseason defeat, it was only fitting one of the primary topics of conversation following the San Francisco 49ers' collapse Sunday was the fate of Steve Mariucci.
With just one season remaining on his contract, and at a base salary of $2.2 million, the 49ers head coach has been quietly seeking an extension. What is likely to occur in the wake of the defeat Sunday, though, is the continued doubt about where Mariucci will be in 2003.
This much, ESPN.com has confirmed, is solid: Mariucci won't be fired over the defeat Sunday.....more
