Re: Bears Asst. Interviewed For DC
either one is pretty awful honestly.
we need an experienced coordinator.. they tried to get two of them.. and they both laughed and said no thanks..
now was are religating ourselves to guys that have never been DCs before.. and one (lynn) wasnt even good enough to keep his job as a DB coach with the talent he had in that secondary.. the other has an inflated number 5 ranking in pass defense because of the garbage offenses that they played... and it showed when steve smith lit them up for over 200.. and 168 in the game before that.. the bears defense was not nearly as good as it looked on paper people..
i am not impressed at all with either one of these guys..

Re: Bears Asst. Interviewed For DC
i hate to rain on the parade.. but we basically have an inexperienced OC already.. fairchild is no offensive guru.. he is a good rb coach who has half a season of OC under his belt.. in which really all he had to do was run the system that martz left in place.
and DJ really is not anything more than an average DC.. put an average DC with an secondary coach .. that doesnt equal good defense at all."All hockey players are bilingual. They know English and profanity." ~ Gordie Howe
