All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Me too, but Culpepper should be solid for you guys. You really had a good group to choose from. Dante, Brees, Schaub, and you even could've looked at Ramsey as a last option. All would improve the situation there. Dante was playing great just 2 years ago.
Culpepper is a huge upgreade over Ferrotte but there defense took a hit especially the secondary due to cuts. Brees and Culpepper both have a huge risk and huge reward potential. Time will tell if it was a steal or not. Culpepper was outplayed by Brad Johnson last year so who knows...
I think this is a good pickup for Miami. The Gus/Feeley/Rosenfals carousel that finally had Gus starting was horrible last year. And with Gus now gone, they need someone with credibility at QB. Culpepper is not the most consistent ever, but he's an order of magnitude better than what they had before. Now they must protect him. If they think Shelton is going to get the job done, they are sadly mistaken. With their 1st rd pick, they must take one of: Winston Justice, Eric Winston or Marcus McNeil (probably in that order). Losing their 2nd rd means they won't be able to take a top Guard and their secondary may need to be addressed with their 3rd and/or 4th picks...
Phins dont have him yet....he still needs to get by their doctors. If he passes the physical its a tremendous upgrade, over the past decade of QB play in Miami. Chamber, McMike, Brown and co. have the ability to do amazing things if they have a QB that can hit them in stride.

But all in all, a good move by the fins!!!
Shelton will be fine with Houcks ability to coach up, the 2nd I believe it's a 2007 2nd.
Not to rain on any fin fans parade, but there is much speculation as to whether Culpepper is really that good without Moss?
Numbers don't lie.
Moss missed Det, GB and Ind during the 04 season.
During that time? 765 yds passing, 68% passing, 7 TDs, 1 INT. The guy has Randy McMichael (better than their TE), Chris Chambers (a Probowl WR), Marty Booker (a once Probowl WR who is definitely better than their #2), and one of the best 1-2 punch backfields in the league.
