Well there ya go. Brees to New Orleans and that makes #8 MUCH more attractive to teams wanting a QB

Sean Jensen, of the Pioneer Press, reports Minnesota Vikings QB Daunte Culpepper is expected to be traded to the Miami Dolphins Tuesday, March 14, for a second-round draft choice in the upcoming NFL Draft.
I think that he's a steal if they get him for only a 2nd rounder. Still, he's not playing in '06.
Fumbilia! Fumblerooski!
we will see. I am still not buying this necessarily
Thank god! At least they didn’t get a good QB like Brees!Originally Posted by LtFinFan66

VIKES SHIP CULPEPPER TO FINS
Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com reports that the Minnesota Vikings have traded quarterback Daunte Culpepper to the Miami Dolphins for a second-round selection in the 2006 draft.
The deal is contingent on Culpepper passing a physical.
wooooooooaaaaaaaaa
ESPN is on it now too
BREAKING NEWS
Vikings Shipping Culpepper To Miami
The Vikings are finally trading away Daunte Culpepper. Len Pasquarelli reports that the Vikings are sending the quarterback to the Dolphins for a second-round pick.
Good for the Fins. That is a HUGE upgrade. Dan Patrick and NFLN just made it official.
I'd rather have Brees
Whats the over/under on fumbles for Daunte in the toasty Miami climate?
YEAH!!!!! Now all we need is Bree's to NO and all is GOOD!!!
Fins are now instantly playoff contenders. I would have rather they got Brees as I think LT and Gates made Brees look better than he was. Brees chokes in crucial game situations whereas Daunte thrives.
Byrd.

I don't get how Brees is a better player than Culpepper if both are healthy(which is a concern on both guys)
You want to tell me that Culpepper is nothing without Moss, but how well will Brees fair without LT and Gates?
If you ask me Culpepper is a better than Brees and will be a steal for Miami.
you guys can´t piss on our parade, we just got a HUGE upgrade at the QB position......
Me too, but Culpepper should be solid for you guys. You really had a good group to choose from. Dante, Brees, Schaub, and you even could've looked at Ramsey as a last option. All would improve the situation there. Dante was playing great just 2 years ago.Originally Posted by Chambers84Phins
Culpepper is a huge upgreade over Ferrotte but there defense took a hit especially the secondary due to cuts. Brees and Culpepper both have a huge risk and huge reward potential. Time will tell if it was a steal or not. Culpepper was outplayed by Brad Johnson last year so who knows...
I would laugh my ass off if he never gets to 100% and doesn't even see the field this year.
