I was thinking the same thing. I'm looking to get some more picks in the first 4 rounds.
I have the 3rd pick in every round, I would Like to trade down,

I will give somebody a real great deal for rookie picks if they would rather have the FA picks.
Is trading open or are we just allowed to trade FA and rookie picks? If it is not open, is there anything against working out a trade then executing once trading is open again?
At this time the only thing that can be traded is picks. I would imagine we will see draft picks being moved around as owners try to move up or down.
Technically? You could in theory work out a trade now and then announce it after the FA is done. However, any trade better conform to the salary cap rules.

8.7 - Teams may discuss trades at any time after the season trading deadline but trades can only be made official and final during trading periods.
