ummm, Holcomb is a piece of **** and is NOT my future. Orton won't be starting this year, Grossman will or else Griese will.Originally Posted by L.A. Playa
I was going have McNabb for a long time and then that got screwed. Then I decided to make Rivers my QB of the future...NOPE. Then I figured I could get Losman in the next round or in the $1 million rounds and he could be my QB of the future....NOPE!
ARGGHHHH!
At least my pick finally made other people mad. That makes me feel a little bit better.Originally Posted by ryjam282

Hopefully next year that won't be a rule. You shouldn't have to cut a certain amount of players or have to worry about being under a cap for FA.Originally Posted by Mikey82

it will be like that for next year. But this year really ****ed over some of us who were here for the draft everyday and built our team from scratch. We had to make some very tough decisions. McNabb was one of them. I weighed the pros and cons and I didn't think anyone would pay $7.5 million for a QB that missed half the season and lost his number 1 weapon, especially when that jumps to $9 million and then $10.Originally Posted by BillsFever21
If I did it again, i would have tagged McNabb at $7.5 million and would have probably been safe.
Had to do it, he gives me a cheap backup behind Brady. And in the chance he improves this year and starts to come into his own under the new management hes worth the 2 mil.
I love the way Mods use their power to edit posts to hide a personal attack
sorry i snapped. But that wasnt really a personal attack.Originally Posted by L.A. Playa

Playa, you are a ****ing moron.
but you aren't, so I wouldn't say that to you.
Now, if I said **** you, but went around the asterisks, it would be a personal attack, because it's different. But I didn't. So you don't know what i said.... I could have said anything thats a 4-letter word. Either way, I'm sorry I said that and I edited it because it's not right to leave up.
Im hurt and the apology is not accepted you are a sworn enemy of the Playas now
The cap should go up a little bit every year or two or the salaries of the players go down. There would be no way to keep anybody once their salaries esculate. We can't push the salary to further years to lower it like in real life.
With the esculation of players salaries it will cost millions every season. It shouldn't go up a lot but a little bit every year like in real life.
Enough where you can have a chance to keep or sign somebody but not an extreme amount where you can just buy anybody you want. Enough where you can try to keep some players around but will still have to make a choice with others.
The cap does escalate each year.

Good post. I have been trying to convince Eb some of this stuff. I think that if he doesnt raise the cap each year, he should definitely lower the amount a contract climbs. Right now, Rudi Johnson costs $5 million, but he goes up to $6 million next year and then $8.4 million in 2008, followed by *$10 million in 2009 and beyond.Originally Posted by BillsFever21
*$10 million is the max a player's contract can be.
keep the cap where it's at.
