I disagree completely. The cap should remain where it is. Otherwise, you will see more and more players hit the $10 Million mark, because teams will be able to afford it.Originally Posted by Mikey82
If the cap does go up, then the maximum value for a player should go up a corresponding amount to make up for it.
"'Clean up your room.', 'Stand up straight.', 'Pick up your feet.', 'Take it like a man.', 'Be nice to your sister.', 'Don't mix beer and wine, ever.'. Oh yeah, 'Don't drive on the railroad track.'"
"Eh, Phil. That's one I happen to agree with."
The cap should not rise next year in my opinion
Those who will suffer if the cap does not increase next year do so because of their own bad planning.
I don't really care if the cap goes up or down next year. I do think, however, that we should be able to keep as many of our players as the cap will allow.

The cap won't go up next year...and read the constitution...there is no max limit after year 1. Next year, if you can fit it into the cap, you can save 53.Originally Posted by Forward_Lateral
That's what I thought, but I couldn't find it in the constitution. It makes it very realistic this way. It would be even cooler if instead of a draft, teams bid on free agents.Originally Posted by Ebenezer

Thanks! I know that he's a low ranking, but he should get better as he is supposed to be the starting DE in Pittsburgh this year. I like the guy and was tempted to wait for him to fall in the $500k rounds, but didn't want to risk it. I'll take him for a million.Originally Posted by SABURZFAN

I figured wrong - I was thinking Calico was so far under the radar he was a .1 mil pick up. Don't know if he's going to pan but it's worth the risk. Stop doing your homework.
