All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Had to do it, he gives me a cheap backup behind Brady. And in the chance he improves this year and starts to come into his own under the new management hes worth the 2 mil.
I love the way Mods use their power to edit posts to hide a personal attack
sorry i snapped. But that wasnt really a personal attack.
This would be a personal attack.....
Playa, you are a ****ing moron.
but you aren't, so I wouldn't say that to you.
Now, if I said **** you, but went around the asterisks, it would be a personal attack, because it's different. But I didn't. So you don't know what i said.... I could have said anything thats a 4-letter word. Either way, I'm sorry I said that and I edited it because it's not right to leave up.
The cap should go up a little bit every year or two or the salaries of the players go down. There would be no way to keep anybody once their salaries esculate. We can't push the salary to further years to lower it like in real life.
With the esculation of players salaries it will cost millions every season. It shouldn't go up a lot but a little bit every year like in real life.
Enough where you can have a chance to keep or sign somebody but not an extreme amount where you can just buy anybody you want. Enough where you can try to keep some players around but will still have to make a choice with others.

Good post. I have been trying to convince Eb some of this stuff. I think that if he doesnt raise the cap each year, he should definitely lower the amount a contract climbs. Right now, Rudi Johnson costs $5 million, but he goes up to $6 million next year and then $8.4 million in 2008, followed by *$10 million in 2009 and beyond.
*$10 million is the max a player's contract can be.

I disagree completely. The cap should remain where it is. Otherwise, you will see more and more players hit the $10 Million mark, because teams will be able to afford it.
If the cap does go up, then the maximum value for a player should go up a corresponding amount to make up for it.

Those who will suffer if the cap does not increase next year do so because of their own bad planning.
