I was throughly pissed with the hiring of Jauron, but I also said that if this team made strides in Free Agency it would all be good.
Well folks, it's not good. Almost a week into Free Agency and every top notch guy is off the market. The Bills did nothing to replace Milloy, signed Triplett but still have a need on the DT, as well at DE. Not to mention Posey and Fletcher are nearing the end of their careers and Clements will be playing all pissed off trying to get a better deal next year, and we have no clue how Spikes will return after a devastating injury.
Oh yeah, nothing has been done to fix our OLine, except cutting guys we already had. This was the #1 priority for this team and every one knew it. I thought at least they'd go after a top-tier Lineman and then maybe draft another. Looks like that won't be happening. This spells doom for JP for another miserable year, unless he's superman which after watching last year I highly doubt. Oh yeah, and our #1 WR wants out of town. But we did sign Washington's backup TE.
Unlike a lot of you, I can take the homer glasses off. This team will battle the Jets for last place... that is the only competition we can look forward to this coming season. No draft even with an A+ grade can help this team this year. I was expecting another down, losing season, but I thought at least this team would show some backbone and try to upgrade. It's like they don't even care.
It's one thing to not sign guys, but tons of guys that could have helped weren't, or aren't, being brought in even for interviews.
