    Ben Tate, RB, Auburn

    From WalterFootball.com
    :
    Ben Tate, Auburn
    Height: 5-10 7/8. Weight: 214.
    (Senior Bowl).
    Projected 40 Time: 4.44.
    Projected Round (2010): 4.

2/6/09: Ben Tate struggled along with the rest of Auburn's offense, rushing for 664 yards and three touchdowns on a 4.2 YPC. Tate also caught 15 passes for 90 yards.

7/25/08: Ben Tate boasts an impressive 40 and a higher yards-per-carry average than Brad Lester in 2007 (4.5), but what's up with his frequent clunkers? I can understand 17 yards on 10 carries against LSU, but I don't get 35 yards on 14 rushes versus Tennessee Tech.

    Comments:
09/16/09- vs. Miss St (replay)- Looks a lot like Ronnie Brown. Not as shifty as Brown but runs really similar. Has decent vision and will find the holes. Isn't particularly quick or fast, but isn't slow either. Probably just an average RB in the NFL.

10/03/09- vs. Tenn- able to avoid tackles, has a good build including a strong upper body. Rugged and quick.
