Dolphins, Jets, Patriots, and Colts Off Season Moves

Know thy enemy. What have the Bills biggest foes done lately?

I included the Colts only because they used to be in the AFC East and the Bills play them on opening day.

Ndamukong Suh is great, but their linebackers aren't very good. Jordan Cameron replaces Charles Clay. Jay Ajayi is their new rookie running back.

The New York Jets have been one of the most active teams in free agency, making several significant moves in an attempt to rebound from 4-12.

Is Revis worth $39 million guaranteed? Brandon Marshall is a big addition to the Jets offense, but he only has Geno Smith and Ryan Fitzpatrick to work with. The Jets also signed Antonio Cromartie to start next to Revis. What will the Jets defense look like without Rex?

The Patriots lost a lot of good players. Their secondary is a huge question mark. Who replaces Wilfork? Who did they sign?

Andre Johnson seems like a nice addition to compliment T.Y. Hilton, but he turns 34 years old in July.

The Colts also signed Frank Gore, who just turned 32 and has at least 1 or 2 good seasons left in his legs but they paid him way too much dough.

Robert Mathis returns to the Colts D-line in 2015, but they have big holes at linebacker, safety, and center.

Out of all of the off season moves from above, I like the Bills off season moves the most because they addressed positions of need and filled them with Incognito, Clay, McCoy, and Harvin.

What do you think are some key free agent signings from teams the Bills face in 2015?

I think the Colts have one of the worst front offices ever. It is like they are not even trying.
Only Luck is saving their asses. And considering their team, it can be argued that Luck is the best QB ever (incl. the first three years only).

Pagano is a terrible head coach too. he got destroyed in that AFC Champ game last year and was a clueless dolt the whole game. Indy got rid of the wrong coach in Arians....

Revis to the Jets, strengthens that team & weakens the Pats*

I don't see the Pats* secondary as much better than the Jets was last year.

The Bills Jets & Fins will all have GOOD Defenses Brady & the Pats* will have to face.

Revis and Cromartie back together again is laughable. Cromartie is the most overrated turd in the game and Revis got his ring and now got his payday,. He will mail it in and he's on the wrong side of 30...

Revis has been getting PAID for most of his career.

It has not affected his play.

The only thing that can affect Revis is AGE, not money.

I think it would be silly to sleep on the Jets D. Adding Williams to go with Wilkerson and Harrison is huge. Revis is still one of the best and Cromartie can still play. It's not like he is a liability out there. Skrine is decent pickup which puts Milner who was I high pick at the dime.

Jets and Bills are very similar teams. Both have lots of talent on defense, have upgraded their skill positions on offense but have HUGE question marks at QB.

The Colts are looking mighty good. I'm not worried about the Jets and the Dolphins.

Well the Colts looked TERRIBLE in the playoffs against the CHEATERS last year.

Yeah, but Revis has been gambling on himself with these one-year deals. So he's HAD to play well (and not get too hurt) in order to land his next deal. I thought that was a bogus tactic, but he's more than made that work for himself.

I think this is the first time Revis has ever had a contract like this. Five years for $70 million, with $39 million guaranteed. We'll see if THAT affects him...whether he'll slack off a bit. Somehow, I don't think it will, but we'll see.
