All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

The difference between facts and opinions is not semantics.
You continue to reinforce you don't know the difference.
You're being obtuse if you think every team that makes the playoffs is a contender. Having the opportunity to contend is not the same as having the actual talent to contend with the best teams. By your definition, Marshall is a contender for the CFB playoffs because they were allowed to play games. By your definition, every team that makes the March Madness tournament is a contender to win it. You know that's not true.

My opinion may be not every team can win it. The fact is they are all contenders.
Again, you obviously don't understand the difference.

OP how do you know what the injury situation is going to be for us in 7 weeks? Or for anyone else? You don't get to make wild claims and call them "facts". Nuh uh. You like to say you're a realist but you're making emotional arguments in this thread that are speculation at best. Sorry but they are. You have no idea what is going to happen
You're being obtuse ... Having the opportunity to contend is not the same as having the actual talent to contend with the best teams.
Talk about being obtuse! You said it yourself having the opportunity to contend classifies one as a contender: everything else is you pontificating. If you make the tournament you are a contender until you are beaten then you no longer are.

I most certainly did not say that. The Bills had the opportunity to contend during the drought. They were never close to actually being contenders.

Are the Chiefs still contenders when they lost to the Bills and won several other games ugly?
They had to go to OT at home vs TN who was playing with no QB. Chargers blew many chances to build a lead that would have prevented a last drive win for KC. Then they struggle with the Rams who were as one dimensional with no QB as any team you'll ever see. The Opi of the Chiefs board is probably saying they have no shot if they keep playing like this.
Every year, there are some teams that make the playoffs that don't have a legit shot at winning it. But anyway, we are arguing semantics. The way this team is playing, there are multiple AFC teams that will beat us.
Just so wrong sorry.
Any team that makes the playoffs has a shot believe it or not.
