All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

He's a smaller guy at WR but I think we need help there and getting free agents at that position is really tough. So based on that list if he's still on the board I'd agree with Noty and go Zay Flowers. He's a playmaker. If we get him we might as well cut the punter, no need.
Is Zay Flowers drops to the Bills at #27 they should RUN to get the pick in. He would be lethal on the field with Diggs and Davis.

Not a bad choice .....
Still a top OL is more important JMO.

We pretty much lost the LOS battle on both sides of the ball every game last season. Our team was stacked which helped assuage the inability of either line to assert control at the LOS. It very well could be the situation that throws Allen into Hero mode. We need to get better in the trenches as a foundation.
Swiper forgot Tom Ruud, Booker Moore, and Perry Tuttle.
Perry Tuttle is probably the best illustration of the Bills being the ****tiest NFL franchise under Ralph Wilson’s 50+ years of total incompetence.
Tuttle was the Bills pick at #12 BEFORE they drafted Jim Kelly #14.
They had two 1st round picks in 1983 from the result of the Tom Cousineau disaster of 1979 where Ralph refused to pay him....just like he refused to pay Jim Kelly which made him waste the first three years of his career in the USFL.
Of course the reality of Wilson’s crappy ownership means zero today.

Tony Hunter, TE from Notre Dame, was the pick before Kelly.
And the logic behind the order was they knew they would get Kelly or Marino at #14 and would be fine with either. They also wanted Hunter badly, but didn't want to risk taking the QB first, and then having Detroit or somebody trading into Detroit's spot stealing Hunter from them.

Oooops. Old man brain fat.
I’m still upset with the Tony Hunter pick and the debacle of Wilson’s ineptitude. My bad.
Wanting Hunter “badly” further shows how crappy the franchise was run. Picking a QB and then refusing to pay him compounded the terrible....which was an extension of earlier cheapskates ineptitude of refusing to pay Cousineau.
Would it have surprised anyone if the Bills were not able to trade the rights to Cousineau for the #14 pick, the Bills could have passed on a QB altogether and still picked Hunter at #12???
