All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Beane knew that the team was going to be well over the cap in 2024. I think that the plan all along was to move McGovern to center (possibly his most natural position) after 2023 for cost savings. He did play center in college and took some snaps there for Dallas as well. Morse is on the wrong side of 30 and has a history of concussions - one more and he might be done. Plus, Edwards seems to be a good fit at guard since the running game is being re-established.
Excellent post!

Now you’re just not making sense. There are at least 3 teams in the AFC alone that had better rosters than us before all the cap cuts.
We made the correct cuts.

With Beane everything is systematic. Does everything he does work? Of course not, but at least there’s a plan and those plans have worked to the tune of four straight division titles.
Yes they have.

I understand the cuts. But this isn’t about whether or not the cuts are correct. It’s about the state of the product on the field after the cuts.
You believe you know more than the rest of us?

We lost two starters, arguably 3 if you count White, and we have no cap space to replace them
It doesn’t matter what I believe. Facts are facts.
wrong 100%

laughable nothing about it is objective ..... to be taken seriously be objective.
every move was correct and disqualifies any of them as far as the team is concerned as starters.

Whether or not the moves were correct is a subjective opinion.
We lost 2, arguably 3 starters. That is objective fact. We have no cap space. That is objective fact.
They lost no starters they lost former starters ..... moving on and up ....... that's being objective and that's fact ....... in other words the way it is ....... the proverbial bottom line.

Can’t count White since he pretty much missed another season.
This is accurate of course.

Re: So where do we stand after today's bloodletting?
Were Hyde and Poyer really starting caliber or were they starters mostly out of tenure? We lost a starter in Edmunds and he was easily replaced by a nobody non starter inexperienced question mark. That inserted body just had an awesome season as a starter.
The term starter is just a designation some times.
