    Pick Your QB

I think we have about 4,567 different threads on QB's, so let's just get everybody on the record right now. The options are pretty self-explanatory, so take your pick.

If you pick other then please list who you would rather trade for or sign below.

I want Cutler and draft Mahomes.
If not Cutler, I'll take Glennon.

Romo's not coming to Buffalo so I'm not even considering him.
He would be my first choice.

    Re: Pick Your QB

Why are we held to 1 choice ?

A vet FA and a draft pick, to go with C. Jones.

    Re: Pick Your QB

I voted for Tyrod. But I also want to see a "vet" backup and draft pick or two draft picks.

Bring in a practice squad or 2nd/3rd stringer from another team and draft Kelly. Or draft two QBs.

Tyrod won't take a cut & we won't pay him, so let's just get that out of the mix now.

    Re: Pick Your QB

Brian Hoyer and a draft pick. Either Mahomes in Round 2 or a late round flier on Kelly.

Let Hoyer play til he gets hurt, because he never stays healthy for a full season, and then go with the rookie.

    Re: Pick Your QB

Lmao that people think a headcase like Cutler or a glass jaw choke artist like Romo would get us to the playoffs. Both would be a huge waste of money.

I hate the idea of Chad Kelly, not because of Chad himself, but because I don't trust them to make the call solely on his football merit. Russ Brandon knows he'd sell a ****-ton of jerseys with Kelly on the back and that will influence the decision.

Might as well pull one of those options out of a hat because none of them will result in us making the playoffs. Once again, we need a QB, and once again, no one who can solve the problem is realistically available to us.

    Re: Pick Your QB

No the "huge waste of money" would be to pay Tyrod that contract.
If he is open to renegotiating then lets talk, if not, see ya.
If the plan is winning the Super Bowl then Tyrod goes.

    Re: Pick Your QB

My first choice is to keep Tyrod for another year or two and see what he can do with healthy/better WRs and different coaching.

If they do end up getting rid of Tyrod, my next choice would be to start Cardale Jones and focus on getting a top qb prospect in the 2018 draft if Jones looks terrible.

    Re: Pick Your QB

How is signing Kirk Cousins as a free agent even an option and why isn't it what everyone voted for? We have a better chance at landing Romo, and we all know that's not happening.

    Re: Pick Your QB

I'd love (and voted for) Cousins... But how realistic is that? Would still want Chad Kelly in the 3rd round
I'd be OK drafting Deshaun Watson at 10. But I'd also be OK trading down a couple times to pick 2 or 3 additional 2nd and 3rd rounders (we have 25 roster spots to fill).

So... I guess I'd go bridge QB and draft Chad Kelly.

Not sure I post this in this thread but we can't trade Tyrod? I gotta believe we can trade this guy, and maybe for a 1st rounder based on some of the desperation out there.

In order to trade him, we have to pick up his option, at which point we'd have about $16MM in dead cap after we traded him. No thanks, just cut ties with him now. What a stupid contract we offered him.
