    La'el Collins

    So Far Dominant!

Amazing that no team was smart enough to draft him...

    Honestly, GIVE IT UP!!!!!!!

32 teams passed for good reason. I can't believe that Hughes was traded by the Colts.

Hard to believe 32 teams passed on someone of his high character.

    Good Reason?

You mean bad reason. They passed on him for a few bad reasons.

I've been banging this drum pretty hard lately. Foolish not to have taken him in the 7th.

You realize the Bills organization's focus isn't to bring in high character guys... Just look at some of our offseason acquisitions

Rumor has it that La'el and his agent told teams that they would not sign with anyone after he dropped in the draft. Teams got scared and didn't draft him.

    Regardless,
I agree with you completely. Someone should of called his bluff and taken him in the 7th round.

    Re: La'el Collins

Guess what if you want to go back to some of our old drafts (Like the Maybin one) there are some great players that we could have gotten but didn't.

Get over it, the player that you wanted went somewhere else. Do I wish we had taken him? Sure, but its over now.

Just like I said in the Petty thread, listening to how well other players are doing has no effect on the bills. It doesnt matter, it wont change anything with the team we have now. Just move on

Then if Dallas wanted him (and he them) then at least Buffalo could have gotten a player or a higher pick in return.

    Re: La'el Collins

Collins was good against the Chargers' backups. But I agree that taking him in the 7th and calling their bluff would have been a worthwhile gamble, but all 32 teams passed on him for all 7 rounds.

They will once we start winning again, until then it's all hearsay, woulda sholda, coulda. I mean nobody complains that the 90s teams lost out on TE Eric Green or Shannon Sharpe.

Flutie should have started versus the Titans.

Flutie should have held onto the ball the previous year against Miami. But I know it was someone elses fault he fumbled the ball with the game on the line.

Umm. No. Whenever I read Whaley speak in "I", "me" etc... He takes a lot of credit for his "aggressive" nature. He messed up that one badly.

He reached for Kuoandijo. Hasn't worked out yet.

Didn't pull the trigger on Collins in the draft, then sent Rex down there to wine & dine him ASAP (the Bills were the first to do so) and couldn't get him.

    It's non-buyers remorse.

If people want to hold Collins against Whaley for some bizarre reason (as has been pointed out numerous times, all GM's passed on him the entire draft), fine, hold it against him. But why are people tracking how he's doing in Dallas? Let it go.
