Quite the list Jam... You did forget Coastal once said it would be "monumentally stupid" to trade Zadorov and then a week later wanted Zadorov run out of Buffalo on a rail
But the whole McEichel thing the draft process is fluid its reasonable for someone to change their mind on draft prospects

Let's go through jams list...
spike... he's annoying and a great part of the forum. why is that so hard to deal with and accept?
ennis... I made my mea culpa.
babcock... the whole damn world read that wrong.
coaches... I've been consistent in that I think the best hire for this organization and why is Rochardson. I mentioned Blysma today. Said nothing about wanting him. Funny... pregame tonight the talking heads mentioned those two candidates.
the tank... again you guys can't grasp something that has multiple sides to the same coin.
you guys r too caught up with potential and homerism to allow for creative thought.
As as far as Zadorov... the more that kept coming out and then continuing to watch him play... like a monkey ****** a football.
There's nothing homeristic in believing in the potential we have

Remember a few months ago when you refused to call it tanking but rather argued it was only a regular rebuild?
Whatever.
Karma has bit the Sabres in the ass in the last 2 drafts and today with respect to Babcock.
If you are looking for something fickle, karma is certainly fickle.
Losing intentionally in such an epic historic manner for an unprecedented period of time will come with a significant cost to a team's competitive culture.
Expect more of the same.

The people who use losing the draft lottery as some kind of karma excuse for the Sabres are idiots. The goal was to guarantee at least #2 in in drafts, not #1. There's an 80% chance you're not going to be picking first even if you finish last anyways. Having McDavid would have been nice, but ultimately the goal of the tank was to ensure we get at least Eichel out of it, which we did. The same goes for last year, we would have picked Reinhart first anyways.
I have a hard time qualifying an 80% chance as karma rearing its head.
Tomato, tomato. Sabres did nothing that hasn't been done before many times over.
You are the one calling trading away expiring contracts "tanking" even though it was pointed out to you that it was a common practice. You cried about it, that it was disgusting.
If you want to call it tanking, fine, whatever. The sabres wanted mceichel. They didn't dismantle a good team to achieve that goal. They traded away marginal or good players that were leaving anyways. I hardly see the problem in that, but for some reason, you do.
Everyone knew it was going to be a long season, in which the sabres would likely finish last. That isn't uncommon when a team decides to completely rebuild. For someone who prides himself on upholding the "integrity of the game," one would at least hope you would do your homework on a subject you so vehemently oppose.
And once again, a topic hijacked by spiked lemonade.

coastal - you just need to leave your Leaf love alone here or go to a Leaf board. And learn to leave the homers alone. The Pegula ownership hasn't brought any dignity to the Sabres so far. But the homers are sold on "the plan." Whatever that is. I guess it wasn't Ville Leino.
Now that Babcock stole away to Toronto, the Leafs will be hated more than ever. And you can count me in on the hate. If for no other reason than to see Babcock fail. His stint in Detroit will be his aberration.
But Pegula/Black haven't distanced themselves from Golisano/Quinn in any way, shape or form. In fact it's quite the opposite.

The plan looks good, because it's what needs to be done. A complete overhaul and get us away from the roster that failed for so many years. Pegula surely didn't do what was needed when he first came on, but I'm glad he finally realized what had to be done.
Any Sabres fan that's pissed about Babcock going to Toronto is missing the boat. Yeah, it would have been great to have him but the Sabres aren't going to fall off a cliff just because he went somewhere else. The Leafs have their own issues and they're just starting their rebuild. If you think Buffalo is a joke of a franchise, Toronto is and has been for a lot longer than Buffalo, and signing Babcock doesn't instantly change that.
