He had to go. He is the poster child for a guy that needs a fresh start. After that rookie season, the expectations from the fan base went through the roof. I don't think he could have lived up to there here with all the consent negativity about him and speculation.

Jets get Tlusty for a 2016 3rd and a conditional 6th this year which becomes a 5th if they make the playoffs. Pretty luke warm on the deal but it allows us to keep Buff on the point where he has a better impact on the game. Injuries are killing the Jets right now.

Tallon must be up to something, He has a handful of pretty good players who will be FA's at seasons end, Jagr might be coming in to take one of their spots.

Basically have the same contract, Horton is broken tho, This one is hard to understand, Leafs counting on Horton retiring due to injury??

That's my guess. Bonus if he can play a few games and play well. That's a big if though.

Yup. They are hoping he does not come back and they have the LTIR money above the cap every year.

In Columbus, that was real money because they are not a cap team.
