My Bruins are struggling right now. They looked like crap against the Leafs and Sabres.

Yeah, on paper the Bruins are a better team but they got down 2-0 to a team on the 2nd night of a back to back, and had to go into OT against a div rival.

But, they still got the two points on the road, and the Sabres are so far out of the playoff picture that the extra point in the standings won't affect the Bruins.

• Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News: Sabres GM Tim Murray said yesterday that he’s talked with the agent of pending UFA Jamie McGinn. They’ve had multiple conversations about a possible contract extension. McGinn is happy to hear that they are talking.

• “I hope that they’re talking a lot but it’s out of my control,” McGinn told The Buffalo News after Thursday’s 3-2 shootout loss to the Boston Bruins in First Niagara Center. “What I can do comes on the ice, being a good teammate and trying to help this team win. 2. There is no way that was a penalty shot, especially after there wasn't a penalty shot called on McGinn's breakaway since McGinn was going in alone and Marchand wasn't.

Buffalo has ENOUGH centers(Eichel, O'Reilly, Girgs). They really need a wing that can bury Eichel's passes. Either of the two Finn wingers will do.
