The Bills need to score more, period. It doesn't really matter where it comes from, but they need a lot more points. They finished 22nd at 21.2 pts/gm. 10 of the top 12 scoring teams made the playoffs last year.

No WR is good enough to not be held back by a bad qb. Reports from camp say Ej has accuracy issues and is slow making reads. If that continues into the regular season, Sammy will have a pedestrian season through no fault of his own. He can't do anything about EJ holding the ball too long and taking a sack or overthrowing him by 5 yards.

Agreed. My comment was more speaking generally to Whaley's statements promising playoffs.

I don't know necessarily that every team with two receivers with more than 3 TDs puts up a winning record, But I can pretty much guarantee that no team without at least one receiver putting up a LOT of TD's

will have a losing record.

And I really believe both Watkins & Williams will put up a number of TD's.

I don't have to look, there are quite a number of teams that had two WRs put up 3+ TDs but had losing records. Without even looking I'm sure that these are some of them:

Tampa, Atlanta, NYG, Washington, Detroit, Minnesota, St. Louis, Houston, Tennessee, and Cleveland. I'd wager that the number of teams overall in the NFL that didn't meet that criteria you can count on one hand with fingers to spare.

In other words, the Bills will score more POINTS.

The Bills have a GOOD Defense & lost a number of close games last year.

I expect them to win those close games this year by scoring more points than they did last year.

Before Manuel got injured, Woods & Goodwin were doing fine. Both would have had better years if Manuel had been able to play the entire year.
