You know the Bills will grab a RB and WR somewhere today.
4 QBs that (I believe) were in for a visit. Beavers at OT. A couple good guard lefts.
Add him to my list:
Vadal Alexander was a four-year starter for the Tigers with 25 starts at left guard and 21 on the edge. The 6-foot-5, 326-pounder allowed only two sacks as a senior after he elected to return to school and put the NFL on hold.
Now, his time has come.
NFL Combine Numbers
Height: 6-5
Weight: 326
40-Yard-Dash: 5.57 seconds
Shuttle: 4.90 seconds
3-Cone Drill: 8.04 seconds
Vertical: 24”
225-Bench: 25 reps
Strengths
Alexander, who has lost 30 pounds since his freshman year, has a bright future with his natural size and strength, using better than expected mobility to get to the second level and eliminate linebackers in the run game. Adjusts well to stunts and twists with improved awareness. People mover in the run game, staying aggressive and nasty through the whistle. Sustains well at the point of attack and stays balanced.
Efficient second level climber, engaging and eliminating linebackers. Strong hands with the ability to steer and control once locked on. Four-year starter, splitting his experience between right tackle and left guard - also practiced at left tackle with one career start there as a senior.

Alexander looks slow. John Miller ran the 40 in 5.33. But otherwise looks good.

For comparison.
Cook or Hogan please.

At this point, it's all backups and role players. I'd like QB addressed with the next fourth round pick. I would think Cook, Prescott, Hogan, or Jones might be there.
A versatile, athletic OL backup like Beavers out of W. Michigan or McGovern out of Mizzou. Both guys fit Roman's OL and can backup at multiple poisitions, so when the injuries start coming it isn't a complete mess.
A WR would be good...I like Burridge from Michigan St. Watched him a bunch in college and have no idea why he's a 5th or later prediction.
RB. Shady and Karlos weren't both in the lineup too often last year. I like Gillesllee and what he did but I have to think that the Bills are going to keep four tailbacks this year come opening day. Wouldn't mind our last pick today a RB to be thrown into that mix.
Safety. Losing A Williams last year was a killer and as much as they say that he is back, they need some more insurance there. Blandon looks like a solid backup, but Duke on the field at any time on D makes me nervous and I haven't seen enough yet of Meeks.

I won't be around till later in the afternoon, but I'll be checking this thread like crazy without likely posting. Keep me updated guys!
I would still roll the dice on Billings but I can't imagine he is still available at the end of the 4th when the Bills are scheduled to draft next.
Thanks Draftboy!
Rap just said that he spoke to teams about NT Andrew Billings and there are no injury or character concerns. He fell simply because he is a 2 down NT.
That is exactly what we need right now.
