Von Miller had exploratory surgery yesterday and he had to have his ACL repaired and he's now been RULED OUT for the season, per #Bills coach Sean McDermott.

Happy we put him on IR earlier get it done and be ready full blast next year.
He can still help from the sideline etc. etc. etc.

So, just to recap:
We lost to the Chiefs in the playoffs for a lot of reasons, but a big one was the lack of ability to pressure Mahomes.
We bring in Von Miller to pressure Mahomes.
Miller gets hurt, so if we face the Chiefs in the playoffs, we still won't be able to pressure Mahomes. Great.Comment

It’s a big hit, but I will say that Rousseau and Basham developing, Lawson and Philips returning.. they still are improved over last year. But none of them are on Von’s level.Originally posted by OpIv37 View Post

My son tore his PCL but it wasn’t completely torn. My understanding of repairing ACL, PCL or MCL’s is it’s still attach it will heal up. It was toward the end of the season so he was done. It took 8-10 weeks to heal. I guessing Von should be good to go for the start of the season?Retired Air Traffic Controller

Big loss. He’ll be back next year to help the Bills be the first team to win to consecutive SB’s since 2005.
Ed Oliver is developing into one of the best DL in the NFL. Rousseau is a fearsome rusher who is much better than last year. Epenesa and Basham are both coming along nicely. Lawson is enjoying a second lease on his career and Phillips is a solid addition.
With the Bills possessing the best LB tandems in the NFL and All-Pro Tre’ White getting up to speed, the Bills defense is better than last year even without Von Miller.Comment
