BillsZone's own Michael J. Thomas spoke briefly with Buffalo Bills GM Tom Donehoe at camp.
"Mr. Donahoe, did you look at bringing in [Center] Pete Kendall from Arizona?....The status on OT Mike Williams- I noticed he was not out on the field."
Tom Donahoe: "Yes, we did. But we didn't like him. We like what we have." [On Mike Williams] "He was not out there today."

CBS Sportsline on former Bills FB sam Gash, recently waived by the New Orleans Saints-
--Ex-Bills' fullback Sam Gash, 35, was cut by the New Orleans Saints, likely bringing to an end his 12-year NFL career. Gash was a solid player for Buffalo, on the field and in the locker room, but was badly misused last season by coordinator Kevin Gilbride. One formation used frequently had the 242-pound Gash, one of the best blockers ever, split out at wide receiver. And people wonder why Buffalo finished 30th in offense and didn't score a TD in seven games.

Bills QB Drew Bledsoe on last season's offensive debacle- ( Rochester D&C ) “Last season, more than any in my 11 years, stayed with me for a long time...............I found myself lying in bed at night a month after the season thinking about what went wrong and what happened. When I'd get up in the morning and work out, that was the motivation I had. It was a very hard one to shake, so I'm glad we're back out here practicing and playing ball again, because I really feel strongly that we're going to be able to put last year behind us and have a much more successful season.”
Bills GM Tom Donahoe on Bledsoe-
“Drew has the same type of attitude and enthusiasm he had when we traded for him,” Donahoe said. “We expect him to have a really good year, because his mind is right and we think we've added a few more things on offense that will help him — the coaches and a couple more weapons he can utilize. So he's very optimistic.”

Buffalo Bills Defensive Coordinator Jerry Gray on New acquisition Jason Gildon( Buffalo News )-
"We're trying to find out what he really knows and how he fits in with the Buffalo Bills," Gray said. "We know he can rush. We're trying to find out the mental part. Can he carry a big load or do we have to go in and take it piece by piece by piece? Once we get that, you'll see a lot more different variations of our defense on the football field."
