Official Bills vs Cardinals Press Releases

by

1999_Flutie_vs_Cards_1.jpgThe Bills will face the Arizona Cardinals Sunday on Halloween, marking the second time the two teams have met on October 31; the first meeting was in 1971 versus the then, St. Louis Cardinals.

Buffalo looks to rebound from a 20-6 loss at Baltimore last week, while the Cardinals are coming off a win over the Seattle Seahawks, 25-17. While the offense struggled at Baltimore, the defense, led by Aaron Schobel’s two sacks and a forced fumble and Takeo Spikes 12 tackles and one sack, held the Ravens to 160 total yards and only 60 yards passing (47 of which were on one play). After last week’s defensive performance, the Bills defense is now ranked fifth in the NFL and the unit has yet to allow a 100-yard rusher this season.
