Seahawks and Bills can't find takers for RBs
by
While all the running back trade news focused on the Bills' attempts to rid themselves of Travis Henry's services, another back was being shopped.
Several NFL executives told FOXSports.com they received calls on Friday from the Seahawks, who were trying to trade RB Shaun Alexander. The price tag for the Pro Bowl RB was a first-round draft pick, with the team calling in the middle of the first round.
Neither the Seahawks nor the Bills found any takers. The Bills were asking for a third-rounder, but teams decided to wait, feeling Buffalo will eventually dump him as he's insisted he won't show up to camp.
