In this game against one of the weaker defenses that the Bills should face this season, the offense was only able to amass 13 points on its own merits, at home, in a hugely and favorably charged emotional game. The other 9 points were all field goals on drives already begun well within field goal range and in the absence of the Bills to move the ball otherwise. All three were set up by the defense, which played superbly.
