Why is it, that fans of the Buffalo Bills continue to support this team? Despite numerous consecutive seasons of mediocrity, the Buffalo Bills seem to sell out every home game. Why? Why do people continue to pay to watch this garbage? I can hardly stand to watch it on TV, I can only imagine what I’d do if I shelled out money to watch a game live.
It’s the same story, year in and year out. As if losing 4 straight Super Bowls wasn’t enough, now the team is a borderline laughing stock of the NFL. Again, I ask. Why? Maybe if fans stopped paying to watch this garbage, Ralph Wilson would realize that something needs to be done.
I can’t really blame Ralph, if people want to pay to watch a bunch of rejects try to play football, why change it? If you have a General Manager who’s winning percentage is lower than the collective number of teeth in West Virginia, and people still pay, why fire him? If you have coach after coach who has NO head coaching experience, and couldn’t find his rear end if his head was nailed to it, and people still pay, why change it?
The bottom line is, sooner or later, fans are going to get fed up with this team. Some already are. It’s only a matter of time before people realize they could be spending their hard earned dollars on something other than watching their favourite NFL team get victimized every Sunday. At this point, I’d pay to watch an Iraqi execution before I’d pay to watch a Bills game.
Mr. Wilson, please, I beg of you, do something. Wake up and smell the muscle rub. If you don’t do anything, who will? Or have you come to accept Mediocrity too? Most of us are tired of being fed the same BS line every year. We are rebuilding. We have a good young nucleus of players. We are only a few pieces away. Wait until next season, that’s OUR season. What a load of bull. I’m tired of eating the crap that is served to me every season, that is cooked up by the Bills organization. I’m tired of washing it down with a glass of “Wait until next season”. I’ve been waiting for the past 10 years, and I’m still waiting, like a 6 year old waiting for his lost dog to come home. Well, this 6 year old has finally realized that his dog isn’t coming home. Maybe it’s time to go buy a new dog.
