He was named team Captain in 2011.<\/li>\n<li>He played high school football at Ruston High School in Louisiana. Hall of Fame Defensive End Fred Dean also graduated from Ruston.<\/li>\n<li>Williams chose LSU over Auburn, Nebraska, Florida and Tennessee.<\/li>\n<li>While at LSU Kyle won a National Championship in 2003, and played with JaMarcus Russell, Laron Landry, Marcus Spears and Dwayne Bowe.<\/li>\n<li>During his senior year Kyle emerged as a locker room leader helping the team transition to new coach Les Miles. That season LSU lost to Iowa in the Citrus Bowl. Scott Chandler was a member of that Hawkeye team.<\/li>\n<li>In 2005 Williams as named First-team All-SEC, First-team Rivals.com All American and Second-team AP All American.<\/li>\n<li>In the 2006 Draft the Bills selected DT John McCargo with the 26<sup>th<\/sup> pick. 4 rounds later they selected Kyle Williams, he started 11 games that season.<\/li>\n<li>23 DT\u2019s were taken in that draft only 2 have been selected to the Pro Bowl. Williams and Haloti Ngata.<\/li>\n<li>In 2010 Kyle Williams was named the Pro Football Focus defensive player of the year. An award that grades every player on every down that they play.<\/li>\n<li>Kyle is 9<sup>th<\/sup> all-time on the Bills sack list and has played for 4 head coaches and 5 defensive coordinators in his career with the Bills.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Kyle was born June 10th, 1983.
