Pride apparently it weakened just before hitting the coast 72 miles away from New Orleans and oil dropped $4. 1 person died so far. Let's hope the trend continues (without more deaths).

No... There is a tropical storm off the Atlantic Coast that is supposed to head up into NC/Virginia late this week (possibly hitting friday-sunday)

That's the one I'm worried about!

No longer a tropical storm. It's Hurricane Hannah now. At least Hurricane Hannah has a nice ring to it. Hurricane Gustav is awkward even to say. I'm glad it's not one for he history books.

Hannah is supposed to be following me up the East Coast :( Supposed to hit here Saturday AM (I'll already be in NY) and then continue up to NY for Sunday, dumping lots of rain.

Though Gustav is still on people's minds, coastal residents of Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina should all monitor the track and development of Hurricane Hanna. By Friday, it may be nearing the Southeast U.S. coast. Residents in the Northeastern U.S. should also pay close attention because of the potential for heavy rain coming from Hanna late in the week or during the weekend.

None of the forecasts I've seen so far have more than a 20% chance of rain on Sunday at Orchard Park. That could change quickly I suppose though.

And NC too... I'm more worried about that part of it personally. Haven't had to deal with a hurricane yet, but of course I just bought a house, so now I'll get to experience it I'm sure. I also don't like leaving my wife behind to deal with it for the first time either...

No I can't justify the added expense when she could really care less about the game. Not to mention she makes most of her money on weekends and she just took this past one off, so it would have been far more headache than it was worth.
