It sounded to me like he was using a third version....he kept saying "Jag-wire".......reminded me a little of Bush trying to say nuclear...lol

I don't think Bentley is from WNY, but a lot of people there pronounce it Jag-wire.

Ray Bentley and Steve Tasker are two of the worst announcers there are. It is embarrassing quite frankly. They consistently mess up identifying players on the one team they are paid to cover. And the Jag-wire thing was annoying as well.

They did at least talk about both teams. The Jags coverage used all the CBS graphics, sounds and commercial bumpers but I guess they couldn’t figure out how to even generate a list of the bills starters on O or D. It was as if the Jags opponent didn’t exist.
