I just saw on ESPN that he was in New York today for the appeal... I'd imagine we'll know his status soon.

I heard on espn that his appeal won't be heard until next week. I was wondering about this also, but right now I'm under the assumption that he will begin serving his suspension this week, but the appeal is to reduce it to 1 or 2 games.

I'm pretty sure he can play until they reach a decision on his appeal... so if it's getting heard next week I'm fairly certain he'll be eligible to play Sunday...

I think he misses this game for sure and maybe after the appeal it gets reduced to 1 or 2 games instead of 3.

Honestly...Bernard Scott is at least as talented as Benson. I think Benson's an average at best runner, and I have no problem with him playing.

ESPN had it a day or two ago when he was invited in for the workout. They also brought in another veteran RB along with Portis.

I was at the bar last night so I didnt have sound but I saw Clayton on the TV and he said he expects Benson to play.
